647 'Narlan's Revenge'; a huge earthquake in the north-west causes the ground level to drop below sea level. The ocean rushes in, creating the Bauxan Sea. Norisca is cut off from Erenland, Astmad gets a coastline, dozens of towns and villages and thousands of people are drowned.
650: Yoll rebels against Astmad. Appeals to Erenland for aid.
676-81: Astmad attacks Elsey; the Sacrans of Dorlaf turn on its old ally. Astmad regains Hyath and Craiglothe regions.
678: Yoll finally gains independence after a protracted sucession war, though heavily dependent on Erenland.
689 Overthrow of the Relson dynasty in Dorlaf, ending the Sacran period.
701-9: Zabrial invaides the Karlstadt Islands, prompting another war with Dorlaf. Again ends inconclusivly, though with Zabrial in control of the southern (largely uninhabited) islands).

820 Erish forces advance into Schall. Drive out Schallic forces at Manto Valley and force a passage through the Gold Hills. Labland, hoping to negotiate a peace settlement with Ansell, harries Schallic towns on the coast. Nulon besieged.
821 Kratz and Dorlaf both meet Schall's plead for aid - combined army marches against Erish. Heavily defeated at South Bramstead and Marshire on the Desatan Plains. Lackton besieged. Nulon surrenders. Second Erish army crosses the Pritchet Hills to overun western Kratz.
822 Dorlaf removes it's remaining troops from Schall and Kratz. Schall surrenders to Erenland - King Faustan imprisoned, later to be released.
823 Erish armies march into Kratz. The Salbair government surrenders almost immediately.
824 Victory over an Erish force advancing south towards Greene-on-the-Sea. Uprising in eastern Kratz- appeals for aid from Dorlaf, but crushed when these not answered.
825 Erish advance on Ellakan held up. Elsan forces drive Erish from the eastern shores of the Sunken Sea.
826 Attack by Norisca forces King Darian's attention away from eastern campain. Peace treaty signed with Elsey and Queen Laskirk of Dorlaf.
830-5 Several rounds of talks between Elsey, Dorlaf and Zabrial proposing a firm defensive alliance against the Erish. Eventually peter out due to Dorlafan-Zabric bickering.
841 The Noriscan war grinds to a halt, with much of central Norisca in Erish hands, though Brakk still holding out.
843 Death of King Darian. His wife, Queen Naeras, becomes the sole head of the Erish Empire.
844 A clash between Erish and Dorlafan merchant ships escalates into full conflict. Ports in Kratz attacked and fired. Apologies for these actions from Dorlafan crown not accepted by Naeras, who sends Lord Walltey with an army to invaide from the south-west.
846 Walltey captures Pockleton and Mendthorpe, razing the latter. Advance checked by joint Dorlaf-Elsey army. Another Erish army, commanded by Lord Stekkman, finishes putting down an uprising and invades Elsey from the west, diverting most of their forces.
847 Invaision of Dorlaf from the north - capture of Tensel and Cannes, Ellerkan besieged. Heavy defeat of army sent to relive it. Walltey's forces advance as far as Elrich, though Chorley yet to fall.
848 The Battle of the Cellrenacs, another heavy defeat for Dorlaf, prompts King Falcan to offer surrender. His nephew, Barbo (Barbo Macharan) deposes him, vowing to fight on. Falcan and his loyal troops flee to Jolton, where he sends peace offerings to Erenland. Ellarkan surrenders, the northern army advances as far as Bray's Crossing.
849 Walltey's army meets Barbo's in Leipdale - an impromptu army, raised from the east, forces Walltey's retreats. Stekkman's troops advance on and reach Jolton, which opens it's gates to him. Barbo's troops defeated in a winter clash.
850 Yaleth besiged by both Stekkman and Walltey. Third force invaids, defeating an Elsan force on route. After heavy fighting the much-outnumbered Yaleth garrison defeated - much of city defences, including the Kepple Gate, destroyed. Palace captured - even after this, several weeks of street fighting, mainly against citizen's militia. Barbo imprisoned, Falcan restored to part-power as Dorlaf's governor, with the region's capital transferred to Jolton. Stekkman's army turns east when that area of the country refuses to surrender.
851 Queen Nareas, now in her 70's travels in person to supervise the subjugation of the 'sharpest thorn in my husband's flesh'.
852 Completely encircled by the Erish Empire and threatened from invasion from three sides, Elsey surrenders peacefully.
851-60 Gradual subjugation of eastern Dorlaf and the coastal towns. Stekkman himself killed in battle 856. Some aid offered by Zabric navy at first, but this called off when Erish armies threaten a land assault on the country.
859: Death of Queen Nareas.
872: Clashes between Erish ships and Zabrial-sponsors pirates prompts the Empire to invaide its southern neighbour. Erish troops overrun foothills of the Campbells and the Vale of Ancetto.
877: After a series of battles, an audacious counter-attack by the Zabric under Kaet Tukas routs the Erish at Peak Dale and ends the southern advance.
880's: Beginning of the Brolach movement, an extreme splinter of the Ellan Etimists who advocate total withdrawal from the world. Though supressed in some areas, they are broadly tolerated by the Empire and some monasteries are established.
882-6: Erenland tries invaiding Zabrial from the east but is quickly ground to a halt in the Campbells. Peace between the two signed in 888.
900: Erish invaide Labland.
907: Much of Labland conquered, though southern stretches of Asatan Estuary and most of the islands still independent. Mutiny of Erish armies force a retreat.
915,18: Two marches into the Mittelgs against Kakranfé by the Empire, but both defeated.
921: Eruption of Mount Ruratin in the Campbells, s. Dorlaf??. Two large towns in the Klinnell valley engulfed and several thousand people are killed.
925-32: Remaining areas of Labland gradually overrun by the Erish. By 932 Erish Empire at its height in terms of sheer quantity of terrotory, though internal tensions are making it increasingly unsustainable.
947-9: The monetary crisis of the Empire, sparked off by an exhaustion of gold reserves, begins to bite.
951: Simultaenous, though coincidental, mutiny of Erish troops in Dorlaf/Kratz and northern Erenland. Though the mutinees are eventually appeased, morale remains low.
955: The "Twin Strike" of Zabrial and Norisca marks the end of the Erish Empire. The forces of Tars Tukas and Berg Dorunding invade from the south-east and north-west, meeting a huge revolt initially in the eastern lands.
956: Astic/Nissaln lands join in revolt. Desertions/mutinies of Erish troops all across Teraf. Liberation of much of Norisca (including Norisca City) and the south-east.
957: Kakranfé drives Empire from the Asatan Estuary and Islands (later to hold onto formerly Labbish regions). Yaleth, and most of Dorlaf, Kratz, Elsey and Schall largely liberated, Erish completely driven out of Norisca.
958: Decisive victories at Aldanse (in western Elsey) and the Mellertang Vale effectivly remove the Erish from centre and east of Teraf. War begins between Labland and Kakranfé, ending with victory for former in 963. Rebellions in Ulrith lands and Gesund, the latter supported by Dorlaf.
962: The Charlton peninsular rebels unsucessfully against the Erish.
963: Erish desisivly beaten in Gesund, retreat from the area.
966-7:Erish crown signs peace treaties with Norisca and central powers, accepting their loss of empire in these regions.
967: Birth of the Confederacy of Christoté with the Wesseldale Treaty.
969-71: Ulrith again rebels against Erenland, ending with an uneasy compromise and simmering, on-off conflict until 990.
971: Start of the revolt of the Flaugian provinces against the Astmad crown.
979: Peace accord signed between Erenland and Christoté at Barlborough - town rechristened Eren to mark this. Final treaty in which Erenland accepts its loss of empire.
980-1: A huge peasant's revolt in Erenland is eventually crushed by the crown, with the collaboration of lords even in regions still in semi-rebellion from Ansell.
988: After 17 years of sporadic fighting, and the involvement of Elsey and Kratz in 985, the Astmad crown temporarily agrees to the independence of the Flaugian provinces. Astmad formally recognises them in 1004.
990: The post-empire restructuring of Erenland finally concludes in the Treaty of Blue Springs between King Dias and his lords. It divides the country into a series of magnataries and free towns which have some autonomy from Ansell, as well as granting the crown large tracts of land in the centre. The treaty ends civil war for over a century.
993: Pedrop's rebellion against Nissal begins.
1000-14: First Asat War between Kakranfé and Labland, allied with Nissal and Cuorn Tall. Kakranfé eventually driven into the Mittelgs.
1003: Dell rebels against Chatrif, eventually winning independence in 1007.
1021: Narkusk becomes independent from Astmad, after a Norisca-aided succession fight.
1037: Start of the Garreday Uprisings in Christoté.
1042: Pedrop effectivly gains independence from Nissal.
1057: The Linden Accord ends the Garreday Uprisings and turns Christoté into a democracy, of sorts.
1060: Start of the so-called 'Flaugian War,' a confused series of conflicts centred around conflict in the Bauxan nations and between Astmad and Nissal. As well as most of the Flaugian nations, Christoté, Norisca, Erenland and Labland all become involved at various stages.
1093: Peace between Astmad and Nissal brings the last stages of the Flaugian War to an end.
1107: Quern Waface overthrows the Kakranfan throne, with help from Christoté, and establishes his communal democracy.
1121-36: Second Asat War - Kakranfé, allied first with Bedral, later with Christoté, drive Labland south across the Asat Estuary. Y'kel F'raf and all the Asatan islands, including Sardac, re-captured.
1122 The first major revolt of The Arglyon, lands in the south, against Noriscan rule. Fairly quickly quashed.
1125: Beginning of the revolt of the Charlton peninsular against Erenland.
1137: Holaich gains independence from Nissal, propped up by Kakranfé.
1138-42 Construction of a road through the Zanzins linking Kakranfé to Holaich.
1141: Erenland driven out of the Charlton peninsular. King Xodan takes the throne, only to find the women of the country rising up in civil war against him.
1143-7: First Christotan Civil War.
1148: Establishment of the Flaugian League - an alliance of most of the smaller Flaugian states, together with Astmad. There is little overall aim in mind beyond the establishment of a strong, unified presence in the centre and closer trading links.
1150-8: Second Christotan Civil War.
1159: Signing of the Jade Alliance between Erenland, Christoté and Kakranfé.
1162: The island of Savacia - once the property of Schall before its capture first by Labland, then Kakranfé - is restored by the latter to Christoté.
1163: Establishment of Matriarchy of Charlae. Start of the Matriarchal Wars, the defence against the deposed government and Erenland/Norisca.
1164: First naval attacks on Cuorn Tall launched by Kakranfé
1175: The Flaugian League effectivly comes apart. Chief causes were natural bickering, ongoing emnity towards Astmad and Christoté gradually unpicking the allies, offering places on the Jade Alliance to Astmad and Hyath.
1176-7 Unsucessful invaision of Holaich by Nissal.
1179-86: War between Marlan and Hyath, Hyan capital briefly captured but Marlan troops soon driven out.
1189: Erenland recognises the Matriarchy of Charlae as an independent nation.
1195: End of the Charlan Matriarchal Wars.
1206: War breaks out when Nissal support a rebellion by the lands around the town of Moulin against the Astic crown. The war ends with Astmad's defeat and Moulin's independence in 1219.
1215: Start of the Kallant rule in Dell
1224: An alliance of Nissal, Labland and Moulin invades Holaich, defeated in one cataclysmic battle by the Kakranfans.
1227: Kakranfan/Christotan force captures the island of Westleigh. 1227-45 Kakranfé uses this as a base to invade Cuorn Tall, overruning much of island at times though eventually withdrawing.
1231-4 Another unsucessful invasion of Holaich by Nissal

1242: Norisca conquers Branthian

1252: Astmad puts together the 'Northern Expeditionary Force' against Norisca. Liberates Branthian and Narkusk by 1257, invades Norisca the next year.
1259: Norisca annhiliates the NEF.
1269: Rebellion of Westleigh drives Kakranfé off the island. War between Hyath and Craiglothe.
1270: Yoll's democratic government overthrown by the left-wing radical Laurit Moyes. Restored in 1274 with Christotan help.
1271-2 Construction of a Zanzins road between Holaich and Astmad
1271-77 Rule of the Andal faith in Moulin, overthrown by Nissal and Astmad
1282: Royal line overthrown in Narkusk by rebellion. The kings were originally propped up by Astmad, who politely stepped aside when Christoté decided it wanted to help the rebels. Narksuk had around 4 years of freedom before its current oligarchy solidified.
1285: Tenrif II comes to the Labbish throne.
1286: Kakranfé navy recaptures Westleigh.
1293: Labland invades Christoté, starting the Ten Years War between they and (eventually) Kakranfé.
1302: Cuorn Tall again takes Westleigh from Kakranfé, yet to lose it this time.
1303: The Ten Years War ends with Labland defeated and Tenrif overthrown. Much of eastern Labland annexed by Christoté and Kakranfé, including all land along Asat Estuary.
1307 Carinth Blaksheln takes up residence at Remus Castle. Though then little more than a bandit chief, this was the start of his formation of the nation of Grail.
1314: A bloodless coup in Moulin disposes of the monarchy and establishes an oligarchy.
1315: Revolt against Norisca by the Arglyon. Bedral supports the rebels, provoking a full scale war with Norisca.
